Jail Records

The Vanderburgh County Jail is not in the courthouse, but it is located at 3500 N. Harlan Avenue, Evansville, Indiana 4711. It employs 95 full time officers and can house up to 600 inmates. Most prisoners stay at the jail for only a short time, but there are some prisoners who stay the entire time they are sentenced. The jail contains a state of the art security system that consists of pneumatically controlled security doors and locks, computerized and integrated touch screen security with an internal communication system.
